Job Descriptions for the Hospital Pharmacy Supervision Unit
  1. Compiling checklists for routine and up-to-date circular visits approved by the relevant ministry and organizations
  2. Compiling a plan for visiting (public/private) hospital pharmacies periodically, and investigating proper implementation of the Iranian Health System Reform Plan in public hospitals
  3. Submitting visit reports to relevant centers and investigating issues such as prescriptions and invoices sent by patients to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office (regarding price complaints)
  4. Assessing the accreditation of drug office in coordination with the Accreditation Team appointed by the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Treatment and the Ministry’s codified program
  5. Attending the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Treatment’s meetings (held on a weekly basis at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Treatment or hospitals) and submitting scores to the Ministry for accreditation assessment education
  6. Handling pharmaceutical complaints related to hospital pharmacies
  7. Examining and approving the location of hospitals established in 2014 (Gandhi, Treata), and relocation of pharmacies or pharmaceutical warehouses
  8. Sending urgent circulars approved by the Ministry (including those related to recall products) to all centers
  9. Submitting reports of relevant visits to the University Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Development, Hospital Pharmacy Management, Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Treatment and Networks
  10. Answering phone calls and explaining how pharmacopoeia are developed and resolving ambiguities in this regard
  11.  Answering phone calls and resolving ambiguities/answering questions about proper implementation of the Health System Reform Plan
  12. Carrying out correspondence regarding the debts of different pharmacies to distributors
  13. Submitting relevant cases to the Article 20 Commission, the Article 11 Commission, and the Suspending Organization of Iran
